↑↓ Nudge pitch (plays a brief preview) ←→ Nudge time — moves the WHOLE selection
Shift+←→ Resize by one grid step (single note only โ kept as-is; see below)
Enter Add note at playhead
Ctrl+Z Undo Ctrl+Shift+Z / Ctrl+Y Redo
Toolbar Move button โ tap the roll to relocate the selected note (no drag needed)
Toolbar − / + โ resize selected note by one grid step
Esc Panic (all notes off) — cancels an active drag or Move mode first, or clears a multi-selection instead of panicking
Multi-select (click a note): plain click replaces selection Shift+click extends a range from the anchor Ctrl/Cmd+click toggles one note
Toolbar Draw/Select tool (A, hold to switch temporarily, click to toggle) โ Select: drag empty space to marquee-select (Shift+drag adds to the selection); Draw: click empty space adds a note (default)
Ctrl+A Select all Ctrl+C Copy Ctrl+X Cut Ctrl+V Paste at playhead Ctrl+D Duplicate (shifts by the selection's own length)
Ctrl+Shift+←→ Extend selection range from the anchor, one note at a time — a deliberate deviation from the usual grid-widget Shift+Arrow: plain Shift+Arrow was already this app's single-note RESIZE shortcut (kept, see above), so range extension uses Ctrl+Shift+Arrow instead
Group drag/nudge move the WHOLE selection together as one undo step; group delete/paste/duplicate are likewise one step each
Z–M / Q–U Play keyboard
Ruler (focus it first): ←→ Seek ±1 beat Shift+←→ ±1 bar Home/End Start/score end

Record: toolbar ● while stopped — 1-bar count-in, then capture from QWERTY / on-screen keys / MIDI. Click ● again (or Stop/Esc) to finish the take.
Record while playing: ● punches capture in/out without stopping playback. With a loop region, each cycle commits one pass — Ctrl+Z peels the last pass mid-record.
Recording mode badge: OVERDUB layers passes across loop cycles; REPLACE clears the region each cycle. Click the badge to switch.
